Caregiver

This position is for private duty care in the Oxford, MS area. Safe and Sound Home Care is a family-owned business dedicated to helping the elderly and disabled live safely and independently at home. Our proffessional care givers work one-on-one to assist clients with a variety, including personal hygiene care, great companionship, meals, nutritions and much more. We are looking for dedicated, entergetic, ethical care givers to join our team

RESPONSIBILITIES

• provide personal care hygiene assitance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, enjuries or accidents by tending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating.
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist ambulaton
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointment, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client shopping or go with them.
• Perform house keeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly incase of an emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with meal, includig serving and other tasks if neccessary

QUALIFICATIONS

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve in continuously learn new skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce help in safety standards
• High school diplmoma or equivalent/experience as a Caregiver.
• Take pride in high quality care
