Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a restaurant Manager to join our team at Tequila Mockingbird in New Canaan. Full-time hours available.

Duties:

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including staff management, customer service, and food quality control
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
• Create and maintain employee schedules
• Train and mentor staff members
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials
• Coordinate with the marketing team to promote the restaurant and attract new customers

Skills:

• Previous experience in restaurant management or a related field
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions
• Proficiency in computer systems, including POS software and Microsoft Office Suite
