Nutrition Services Aide

Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services for our Fairview Lakes Location in Wyoming, MN This is a casual position offering a flexible schedule where you pick up shifts as you go. The more availability you have, the more hours you can pick up This position is not benefit eligible.

The Nutrition Services Aide prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner, serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays

Schedule

Pick up open shifts as needed by the department.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated area
• Prepares and delivers patient nourishments and tube feeding per department standards.
• Plates and serves food
• Accurately place correct item on tray in proper location in accordance with department productivity standards.
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operating procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Serves customers in cafeterias, doctor's dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
• Accurately operates cash register.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
• Basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
