Meier Concrete is a structural concrete subcontractor supporting commercial, multifamily, and tenant improvement projects across Southern California. We're expanding our international team and hiring a remote
Project Engineer
based in
LATAM
to support our growing portfolio of work.

You'll work directly with a U.S.-based Project Manager and Superintendent team, gaining real-world exposure to concrete construction management, schedule execution, and issue tracking. This is a full-time, long-term role for someone who is organized, proactive, and fluent in construction documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

You'll support 2–3 projects at a time with tasks such as:

• Draft and track RFIs; coordinate responses with field and design teams
• Prepare and submit submittal packages based on project specs
• Maintain and update project schedules in Microsoft Project
• Review 3-week lookaheads and help manage coordination logs
• Organize drawings and specifications in Procore
• Conduct revision reviews between plan sets
• Review BIM/Revit models and flag coordination issues (no modeling required, this is done by other team members)
• Help prepare change orders, including quantity breakdowns and impact summaries
• Track material orders and confirm deliveries
• Join weekly virtual check-ins with PM and Superintendent
• Help prepare closeout documentation and manage punch list tracking

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  (required)
• 2–4 years of construction project coordination or engineering experience
• Strong working knowledge of
  Revit
  and BIM-based model coordination
• Familiar with
  Procore
  and
  Microsoft Project
• Fluent in English and Spanish
  (written and spoken)
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized
• Able to work remotely and independently during
  Pacific Time hours
  (7 AM–4 PM PST)

Compensation & Terms

• $1,500-2,000 USD/month, based on experience
  (independent contractor)
• Full-time (40 hrs/week) – long-term role with performance-based growth
• Paid U.S. holidays
• Work directly with our PMs and Superintendents
• Training and structured onboarding provided
