Job Description

We are seeking a Dog Bather / Front Desk Receptionist to join our team full-time. This position combines dog bathing services with front desk and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate enjoys working with dogs, interacting with customers, and helping keep daily salon operations organized and efficient.

Responsibilities Dog Bathing & Pet Care

• Bathe, brush, dry, and towel dogs for basic services
• Perform nail trimming, ear cleaning, and basic coat care (as trained)
• Safely and calmly handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Monitor pets for visible skin or coat concerns and report any issues
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bathing areas, tubs, kennels, and equipment

Front Desk & Administrative Duties

• Greet clients and pets in a friendly, professional manner
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Manage client check-in and check-out
• Maintain accurate client and pet records
• Process payments and assist with retail sales
• Communicate salon policies, pricing, and service information clearly
• Support daily operations to keep the salon running smoothly

Requirements

• Prior experience in pet care, dog bathing, kennel work, or customer service preferred
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn scheduling systems
• Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask
• Patient, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys working with animals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
