Junior Software Tester/Developer/Engineer

Anyar has an immediate opening on a project in our Eglin AFB, Florida location for a Software Tester/Developer/Engineer with emphasis on software testing/development within specific government architectures and libraries. The candidate will apply these skills to developing object oriented software (e.g. C#, C++) modules and plugins that support Air Force and DoD priorities.

Position Details

Candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, principally software development using defined C#/C++ and scripting APIs to create novel software architectures, applications, databases, and models using Dev*Ops practices that will enable engagement level (e.g. weapon/target interaction) analysis. Candidates must be able to work both independently as well as part of a team conducting software testing, development, and integration of software architectures, products, components, GUIs, and APIs. BS in Computer Science desired, although a combination of degrees and experience will be considered.

Statement of Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance, pursuant to 32 CFR Accordingly, all applicants must be United States citizens, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Software testing and development in variety of languages and frameworks, including C# or C++
• Design, develop, integrate, modify, test, and execute applications, architectures, databases, and models
• Develop adequate depth and breadth of testing to identify and report the cause of testing failures

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant engineering degrees
• 0 - 2 years software development experience
• Basic understanding of the software development process: requirements, design, construction, testing, debugging, deployment, maintenance
• Experience using of versioning software (CVS, Git, Subversion, etc.)
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and articulate ideas, both verbally and written
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued U.S. security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both compiled and scripted programming languages
• Background or education in physics/kinematics, multi-dimensional calculus, linear algebra
• Experience with databases (e.g., sql, minio, or nosql)
• Experience with physics simulations or 3D game engines
• Data analysis and visualization experience is a plus
