Commercial Cleaning Supervisor

The North American headquarters in Bluffton, Ohio specializes in the design and production of automated assembly equipment and machining centers for the electromobility, automotive, aerospace, medical, and die/mold industries.

The cleaning supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team, ensuring quality cleaning standards, and providing excellent customer service. This position plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the workspace.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the cleaning team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and training to cleaning staff.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ensure the cleaning team follows all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Address concerns or complaints regarding cleanliness, ensuring prompt resolution
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules to optimize efficiency and meet client expectations.
• Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to avoid shortages.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe usage of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.

Education & Experience Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Proven experience in a commercial cleaning or custodial role, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership position.

· Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and safety standards.

General Requirements:

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods.

· Strong organization skills, attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.

· Reliability and punctuality are essential.

· Excellent time management and organizational skills.

· Ability to work in a team environment or independently and manage multiple tasks
