Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care across various clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, hospital medicine, urgent care, and emergency departments. This role involves supporting physicians and healthcare professionals with clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality service. Candidates with experience in dermatology, geriatrics, internal medicine, or trauma centers are highly valued. Responsibilities

• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates
• Assist with patient examinations
• Support physicians
• Operate and maintain Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation of patient encounters
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions and ensuring comfort throughout their visit
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with safety standards

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program
• Bilingual
• Prior experience in hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or emergency medicine preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration
• Experience working with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications such as ACLS are a plus
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or urgent care settings
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork
• Flexibility to work in diverse clinical environments including Gastroenterology or, Internal Medicine
