IT Manager, OT Compliance
to build and mature a large-scale operational technology compliance program.
Position Summary
This role is a pivotal leader within the IT organization, responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive compliance strategy across the Operational Technology (OT) environment. You will define a multi‑year roadmap, embed compliance-by-default principles, strengthen risk analytics, and drive proactive governance aligned to NIST standards.
This leader collaborates closely with OT Operations, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Service Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure technology reliability, scalability, and audit readiness. The position includes full people leadership responsibilities—team development, performance management, staffing decisions, and resource planning.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Manage daily operations of the OT Compliance team, mentoring staff and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Lead recruitment, talent development, retention, and performance management to build a high-performing team.
Program & Project Ownership
- Develop and maintain a multi-year compliance roadmap that aligns with risk appetite and industry frameworks.
- Lead low- to medium-complexity IT projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
Operational Technology Security & Reliability
- Oversee the availability, security, and reliability of OT systems.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to identify needs and implement scalable, effective OT solutions.
Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Own cybersecurity and GRC strategy for OT, driving policy, standards, control implementation, and risk tolerance definitions.
- Lead enterprise risk assessments, manage the risk register, and drive vulnerability management and penetration testing activities.
- Support audits, manage evidence, and track compliance to applicable regulations and frameworks.
- Coordinate OT incident response, exercises, and integration with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
Security Architecture & Controls
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, encryption, configuration baselines).
- Evaluate new technologies to strengthen the OT security posture.
Vendor, Financial & Operational Management
- Manage third-party security vendors, contractual obligations, and SLAs.
- Oversee OpEx/CapEx budgets, prioritizing investments based on risk reduction, ROI, and strategic alignment.
- Apply ITSM fundamentals (change/incident/problem) to support service quality and stability.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related discipline —
