Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments

• Take and develop dental x-rays

• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures

• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Assist with patient assessment and medical documentation

Experience:

• Preffered 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, willing to train

• Dentrix and Dexis software

• Familiarity with medical records management and documentation

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques

• Ability to take accurate dental x-rays and perform medical imaging tasks

• Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health practices

• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate patient records

• Proficient in using computer software for medical documentation
