From energy-efficient power systems to advanced HVAC and plumbing designs, our team contributes to a resilient and sustainable built environment, pushing the boundaries of building system design and optimizing performance while addressing the unique needs of each facility. What you'll be challenged to do:
During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. You'll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced engineers and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on client projects, contributing to design and development processes.
  • Work closely with engineers to understand project requirements and propose innovative solutions.
  • Perform detailed engineering calculations and design system layouts (piping, ductwork, etc.), including equipment sizing and coordination of trades.
  • Assist in reviewing and modifying designs based on project needs and participate in field survey work as required.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, reports, and technical drawings.

What you'll bring to our firm:

  • Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited bachelor's or master's degree program in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
  • Demonstrated interest in mechanical engineering careers within the A/E/C industry through applied academic coursework, past internships, or other experiences.
  • Basic proficiency with Revit 3D or equivalent.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a keen desire to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
