Key Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized dish area — wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Follow proper cleaning and sanitation standards to support a safe and efficient kitchen.
• Assist with kitchen organization — restock clean dishes, put away deliveries, and help with closing duties.
• Communicate with cooks and servers to ensure dishes are available when needed.
• Take ownership of the dish station — keep floors clean, drains clear, and supplies stocked.
• Support prep and kitchen team during slower periods (peeling, portioning, labeling, etc.).
• Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive, team-first attitude.
• Handle equipment with care and report any maintenance issues promptly.

• Dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are spotless and ready when needed.
• The dish area stays organized, safe, and running smoothly.
• You communicate well with the team and jump in wherever help is needed.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary — we'll train the right person.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.

Compensation & Details

• Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
• Wage: $14 per hour
• Reports To: Kitchen Manager / General Manager
• Location: MudPenny Rockford
