Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position works with the Sales Team by coordinating sales, marketing, and advertising initiatives for Re:discovery products. This is a full-time, hybrid role, with an in-office requirement during the first six months of employment. The position requires regular travel to industry conferences throughout the year, including domestic and occasional international travel. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
Base Salary is $40,000 - $60,000 plus commissions, commensurate with experience. Re:discovery Software Inc. is an EEO/AA employer and provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Team in follow-up communications with new prospects.
- Support the Sales Team in updating and maintaining the Company's Zoho CRM.
- Work with the Sales Team to prepare price quotes for new and existing business.
- Work with the Sales Team to review, draft and finalize responses to Request for Proposals.
- Work with the Sales Team to review, draft and finalize responses to technical questions regarding the security of the Company's hosting environment. Liaise with the Technical Team as needed.
- Work with the Sales Team to contact existing clients regarding renewal of support and hosting agreements.
- Lead and/or support software demonstrations via Zoom and provide liaison with technical/CSR staff regarding any software functional questions that require follow-up to the prospect.
- Review legacy data samples provided by prospective clients and coordinate with the Director of Conversion Services for the creation of a formal quote for prospective and existing clients.
- Provide initial review of any client contracts, purchase orders or other legal documents and refer to the Director of Operations as needed.
- Attend Sales team meetings.
- Prepare for and attend virtual and in-person industry conferences, including required travel and sales presentations.
- Work with the Sales Team to assist with the development and updating of marketing materials, including print, online and conference exhibit booth.
- Other duties as needed by the Sales Team.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and may require government credentialing.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree.
· Proven track record of effective sales, preferably in the software industry, or experience in museum
fundraising or development.
· Bring a proactive, winning mindset and a socially engaging approach to networking, relationship-
building, and driving results.
· Demonstrate the successful use of a CRM (experience using Zoho CRM is a plus) and a working
knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
· Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and phone skills.
