Job Summary:
Develops and implements integrated Human Resources strategies to support achievement of operating goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities
- Partners with business unit leaders to develop and deliver strategic Human Resource solutions to achieve business unit goals.
- Partners with business unit leaders to align Human Resources practices with business strategy and identify potential barriers to goal attainment.
- Provides counsel and support to leaders and/or employees in the administration of Human Resources policies and procedures. May provide resolution of employee relations and performance issues.
- Partners with business unit leaders in the process of performance management, associate engagement survey interpretation and action planning, patient satisfaction strategies, and training and development needs to develop a culture that supports the achievement of objectives.
- Uses knowledge of Human Resources, legal, and regulatory requirements in conjunction with market best practices to ensure business unit compliance and competitiveness.
- Collects and analyzes HR data, developing recommendations and action plans to address identified issues.
- Supports the implementation of HR programs, communications, and initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience or education
Experience
- Minimum of three years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity
- Experience supporting employee relations and/or partnering with leaders to navigate HR processes is preferred.
- Experience supporting union environments is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
