Concrete Finisher/Forman

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Concrete Finisher/Foreman to lead and execute concrete finishing projects on various construction sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the completion of concrete work, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. As a Concrete Finisher/Foreman, you will coordinate teams, interpret blueprints, operate heavy machinery, and apply your extensive knowledge of construction techniques to deliver exceptional results. Duties

• Lead and supervise concrete finishing crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans for accurate execution of concrete forms and structures
• Prepare surfaces by installing rebar, framing, metal stud framing, or other supporting structures using hand tools and power tools
• Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and other machinery safely and effectively
• Apply finishing techniques including troweling, floating, caulking, plastering, stucco application, and flooring installation to achieve smooth surfaces
• Manage concrete pouring operations with precision, including concrete pumping and ensuring proper curing processes
• Oversee safety protocols on-site related to heavy lifting, scaffolding, roofing work, masonry tasks, welding activities, and the use of power tools
• Coordinate with project managers for construction estimating and scheduling; ensure projects stay on track
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify adherence to specifications and schematics
• Train team members in proper use of hand tools, power tools, formwork assembly, rebar installation, and finishing techniques

Experience

• Proven experience in construction site roles with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry
• Extensive knowledge of concrete forming systems and concrete finishing processes
• Skilled in rebar installation, metal stud framing, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration work
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including mixers, pumps, forklifts or other machinery used in concrete work
• Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites involving roofing, heavy lifting, welding or demolition activities
• Prior supervisory or foreman experience preferred; capable of leading teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards
