As a Security Officer - Distribution Entry Gate in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer, where you'll help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your role will include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and interacting with visitors and staff to provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual activities as observed during the shift.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the logistics and distribution environment.
• Collaborate with site personnel to maintain awareness of ongoing activities and address any access control concerns.
• Support Allied Universal in upholding client policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
