We are seeking a high-energy, driven Outside Sales Representative to join our roofing team serving the Eastside (Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, and Issaquah). This is a 100% commission-based role designed for a "closer" who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the local market knowledge to navigate Washington's unique roofing needs.
Role Overview
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be the face of our company, engaging directly with homeowners and property managers. You will be responsible for identifying roofing needs, conducting inspections, and securing contracts. Your primary focus is speed-to-market and high-volume closing.
- Location: Remote/Field-based (Focusing on East King County suburbs).
- Compensation: 100% Commission (Uncapped).
- Reports To: Sales Director.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Execute door-to-door canvassing and networking within the Eastside suburbs to identify residential and commercial prospects.
- Inspections: Perform roof assessments to identify damage, wear, or structural issues.
- Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight our quality craftsmanship and material warranties.
- Closing: Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to signed contract and deposit collection.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
To reach the ambitious goal of $500,000 in signed contracts per week, the following metrics are tracked:
- Contracts Signed: Minimum of 15–20 signed residential contracts (average $25k–$35k per roof) or 2–3 high-value commercial contracts per week.
- Closing Ratio: Maintain a minimum 40% closing rate on all issued quotes.
- Lead Velocity: Generate 50+ new qualified leads per week through active prospecting.
- Self-Generated Appointments: Minimum of 10 "sit-down" presentations per day.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in construction, roofing, or home improvement.
- Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and maintain a high level of activity in a 100% commission environment.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to explain technical roofing concepts to non-experts.
- Mobility: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel throughout the Seattle Eastside.
Note: This role is ideal for a self-starter who understands the urgency of the local storm seasons and can leverage the high property values of the Eastside to maximize commission earnings.
Pay: $75, $120,000.00 per year
