Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, answering questions with clear communication and enthusiasm
• Show features and benefits of items, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and refunds
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to enhance store presentation
• Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, organizing back stock, and conducting regular stock checks
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone or in person while adhering to proper phone etiquette
• Support sales goals through suggestive selling techniques and promoting ongoing promotions or new products

Requirements

• Prior experience in retail sales environment is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math is beneficial
• Excellent communication skills coupled with friendly phone etiquette are necessary for engaging with customers confidently
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining store cleanliness
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude and proactive problem-solving skills
• Proficient in utilizing social media platforms
• Animal lover, as we have three dogs in the shop daily
