About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, sales-oriented Part-Time Leasing Associate to support leasing, marketing, and renewal efforts at Circle Sunrise Apartments. This role is critical to maintaining high occupancy, drive revenue, and deliver an exceptional prospect and resident experience. This is a high-impact role focused on closing deals and accelerating lease-up velocity.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced leasing environment, is comfortable sourcing their own leads, and has direct experience working with affordable housing authorities—particularly in Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach. Exceptional performance is recognized and rewarded.

Immediate Need:
The Leasing Associate will play a key role in rapidly leasing approximately 16 available units this month.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sales and leasing activities to achieve maximum occupancy by actively sourcing leads and utilizing online marketing tools (e.g., Craigslist, Facebook, email campaigns, affordable housing, and other listing websites).
• Maintain a strong and organized application pipeline, ensuring no leads fall through the cracks. Follow up with prospects and new residents via email, phone calls, thank-you notes, and other outreach to finalize leasing and renewal decisions.
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate pricing and availability information.
• Track and maintain accurate records of leads, traffic, and leasing activity.
• Conduct market research on local trends and competitor offerings to support competitive pricing and positioning.
• Coordinate with the Fort Lauderdale Housing Authority and Pompano Beach Housing Authority, including communication with caseworkers, inspectors, and related stakeholders.
• Support tenant engagement initiatives and actively contribute to a positive resident experience that drives satisfaction, retention, and renewals.

· Own the full sales process from first contact to signed lease, including:

• Greeting and qualifying prospects
• Scheduling and conducting unit showings and community tours
• Overcoming objections and closing leases
• Processing applications, screenings, and move-in documentation
• Ensuring a smooth and professional move-in experience
• Execute renewal strategies by preparing renewal packages, proactively engaging residents prior to lease expiration, and securing timely renewals.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of multifamily leasing experience
• Direct experience leasing to Section 8 / voucher holders
• Familiarity with:
• Housing Authority processes
• Inspections
• RFTA and related paperwork requirements
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
• Comfortable sourcing your own leads online
• Reliable, responsive, and detail-oriented
• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused demeanor
• Spanish proficiency is a plus (not required)
