Cashier/Customer Service

La Ruta Del Cilantro Taqueria is excited to announce the opening of our new restaurant in Avon, Ohio We are looking for energetic, reliable, and customer-focused team members to join us as Front-Line Workers/Cashiers.

Summary

The primary job function of the Front Line Worker/Cashier is to provide excellent customer service to all customers and ensure orders are accurately taken and fulfilled according to La Ruta Del Cilantro Taqueria standards.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Accurately takes and processes orders, both in person and online.
• Ensures all orders are correctly packaged and delivered to the correct customer.
• Operates the cash register and accurately handles all financial transactions.
• Answers customers' questions about the menu and provides recommendations.
• Handles customer complaints and resolves issues to their satisfaction.
• Follows all company policies and procedures, including health, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Assists in maintaining a clean and organized FOH area.
• Works the line and assists in preparing and packing orders.
• Handles online orders and ensures timely and accurate fulfillment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must demonstrate a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Requires the ability to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English to understand instructions, safety rules, and communicate with guests. Bilingual English/Spanish helpful.
• Work schedules will include working on holidays and weekends.
• Must have a valid current Food Handlers Certificate or willingness and ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Must know and follow all applicable health standards.
• Must maintain a clean appearance and professional demeanor.
• Shift times are subject to change, based on the restaurant's needs.
• Applicants must be able to provide flexible availability.
