About the Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Lead to perform and manage all maintenance activities for company facilities and production equipment. This role is responsible for completing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance work to ensure equipment and facilities are safe, functional, and ready for daily operations.

The Maintenance Lead performs hands-on maintenance tasks, coordinates outside contractors as needed, maintains maintenance records and parts inventory, and supports production and facility needs. This role establishes and maintains maintenance practices and systems that support current operations and future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and manage all maintenance activities for company facilities, equipment, and support systems.
  • Complete and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility equipment, including CNC cutting tables, air compressors, forklifts, and building systems.
  • Perform general facility upkeep, routine inspections, building repairs, and hands-on maintenance work such as mechanical repairs, fabrication, welding, electrical wiring modifications, and equipment alignment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using drawings, schematics, test equipment, and manufacturer documentation to minimize downtime.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, procedures, and a CMMS to track maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment history.
  • Recommend, order, and manage machine-related MRO parts, tools, and supplies, including parts lists and stocking levels.
  • Lead maintenance-related projects, equipment installations, and facility improvements.
  • Coordinate contractors and vendors performing maintenance or repair work.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and warehouse teams and support operations as needed.
  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure the cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and work areas.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience performing facility maintenance, mechanical repairs, electrical work, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and maintenance tracking or CMMS systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar).
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Welding experience preferred (MIG required; TIG a plus).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, climb, crawl, and access equipment.

Additional Information

  • Reports To: Senior Director of Engineering and Facilities
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
