Barista

Job Overview
We're looking for a friendly and reliable Barista to join our team You'll be making coffee and other drinks, helping customers, and keeping the café clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash handling protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including equipment, counters, and seating areas.
• Assist in food preparation and handling as needed, ensuring all safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain high standards of quality.

Requirements

• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safe food preparation.
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• A friendly demeanor with a willingness to help customers and team members alike.

Shift hours:

Mon-Friday: Opening (7:30AM-2:00PM), Closing (2:00PM-8:30PM)

Sat-Sun: Opening (7:00AM-2:00PM), Mid (10:00AM -4:30PM), Closing (2:00PM-8:30PM)

3-4 shifts/week, combination of both AM and PM shifts.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
