Position Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Travel Medic at TransMedCare LLC, you will be required to maintain the same level of care and professionalism that is consistent with our high standards throughout the duration of patient transport. You will be expected to uphold the quality of care and support both in transit and at the destination, ensuring that every patient receives the exceptional service and attention they deserve.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Provide compassionate care to patients during transport.
- Perform in-person patient evaluations with the nurse, caregiver, or family member at pickup and drop-off.
- Monitor vitals, assist with feeding, toileting, hygiene, and medication administration.
- Change patient undergarments as needed and empty catheters.
- Complete all required documentation of patient care administered.
Environment and Equipment Management:
- Keep patient and vehicle areas clean and sanitized.
- Inventory medical supplies and report shortages or malfunctions.
- Maintain clean linens for patients and contractors.
Family and Communication:
- Update the family on the patient's condition throughout the trip.
- Facilitate communication between patient and family; accommodate family needs during transport.
Compliance and Policies:
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Certifications and Licenses:
- Current CNA, CPR, and Medication Administration certifications.
- Valid ID or Passport
- LLC License and Workers' Comp exemption (if applicable).
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in patient caregiving.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle patient care demands while traveling.
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in multiple healthcare settings.
- Proficiency with medical equipment and technology.
Eligibility:
- Ability to travel 5–10 consecutive days across the continental U.S.
- Proficient in English (read, write, understand, and speak).
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 100 lbs (assisted).
- Flexible schedule, including weekends; must be able to fly when needed.
- Reliably able to commute to the Casselberry, FL office.
- No pet allergies.
- Proficient with smartphones and technology.
