Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to oversee and maintain the operational integrity of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and have experience working within manufacturing or industrial environments. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all hotel equipment and infrastructure. Candidates with background in industrial electrician work, HVAC systems, hydraulics, welding, and programmable logic controllers will excel in this position. A commitment to customer service and safety standards is essential to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to Hilton brand standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a hotel, resort, or apartment community
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance
- Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently
- Commitment to providing outstanding guest service in alignment with Hilton values
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- EPA Certification, CPO, or similar certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- A clean and valid Colorado Driver's License, maintained for 3 years
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
