Role: Store Manager
Location: Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, Medical District location Huntsville, AL
Purpose of Position:
Sharing our passion one sandwich at a time Oversee the daily operations of a fast-casual dining establishment, ensuring smooth workflow, exceptional customer service, and profitability. Provide uncompromising standards of quality and service by ensuring hot food is always served hot, cold food cold, all food fresh, in a clean environment.
Responsibilities:
1.Operational Management
Prepare team schedules with focus on sales vs. labor forecasting
Monitor compliance with health, safety, and building relations
Prepare all products according to Capriotti's specifications
2.Team Leadership
Recruit and hire the best in the available talent pool
Coach, develop, and motivate team members
Foster positive relationships with team members, guests, and vendors
Lead by example in delivering exceptional service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
3.Customer Service
Ensure high quality customer service
Role model our standards and maintain a positive work culture
Maintain the integrity of our recipes to ensure a consistent guest experience
4.Financial Management
Responsible for cash management
Monitor sales, cost of goods sold, and labor
Utilize effective purchasing, inventory, receiving, and waste-monitoring procedures.
Skills and Knowledge:
Possess a service orientation by actively looking for ways to help others.
Demonstrate emotional resilience under pressure and during changing priorities.
Have the ability to multi-task, remain "hands-on" during a busy shift without losing focus on the guest, product quality, and team performance.
Experience in POS systems and proficiency in the use of a computer (e-mail, spreadsheets, and other documents).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to withstand work conditions in temperatures of 0F or less and up to 100F.
- Ability to move throughout the restaurant for extended periods at a time.
- Can move 50 lbs. for a distance of up to 10 feet.
- Ability to balance and move up to 25 lbs. for distances of up to 50 feet.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High school or equivalency required; college coursework or degree preferred
- Previous supervisory and hospitality industry experience required
- Proven track record of success as a restaurant manager or assistant manager
- ServSafe Manager certification required
Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant management or leadership experience (fast casual or QSR preferred)
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient in POS systems and basic computer software (email, spreadsheets, reports)
- Must be 18 years or older
