Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations across multiple apartment communities totaling approximately 400 units in the Houston area. The ideal candidate will have strong apartment maintenance experience, be EPA certified, and possess advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, particularly mini split units. This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring excellent organization, communication, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance operations across all assigned apartment communities
  • Respond promptly to work orders and emergency maintenance issues; on-call availability is required
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, especially mini split units
  • Perform general maintenance duties including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and preventative maintenance
  • Manage and supervise maintenance technicians and vendors as needed
  • Track and maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed according to company standards and within required timelines
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, completed work, and unit turnover schedules
  • Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate with property management on maintenance priorities
  • Uphold safety standards and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in apartment maintenance, with supervisory responsibilities preferred
  • Strong HVAC knowledge, specifically with ductless mini split systems
  • EPA Universal Certification required
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Must be able to participate in the on-call rotation
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed
