Cook

This position includes an hourly wage plus tips. We are currently hiring a full-time cook to join our team. Must be able to work at a fast pace in our small kitchen. Pay base on experience. Willing to train the right candidate.

Job Duties:

• Contribute to menu planning efforts by providing input based on culinary knowledge and customer preferences
• Maintain a safe working environment by following all health and safety regulations and protocols
• Follow established recipes and menu plans to deliver consistent, delicious meals
• Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and managing inventory
• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, walls, oven, and refrigeration equipment.
• Prep as needed throughout the shift.
• Maintain a good working rapport with staff.
• Help with washing dishes.
• Good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent attendance
• Experience with menu planning, food service operations, and kitchen management preferred
• Strong background in food industry roles such as restaurant, catering, or fine dining environments
• Proven culinary skills including food preparation, cooking techniques, knife skills, and meal assembly
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
