About the Role:

Our Client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a growing team in the packaging industry.  The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-energy sales professional with a passion for innovation and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through research, outreach, and networking.

·       Client Engagement: Initiate and maintain contact with potential customers through calls, emails, social media, and industry events while continuing to introduce and upsell products and services

·       Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and propose tailored packaging solutions to meet their business objectives.

·       CRM Management: Track and manage leads, interactions, and sales activity using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

·       Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform outreach strategies.

·       Territory Management: Service and solicit business opportunities in the Tri-State area (NJ, PA, Del). 

·       Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align on strategy and optimize lead conversion.

·       Reporting: Provide regular updates on pipeline development, lead status, and sales forecasts.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).

· years of sales and client-facing experience; packaging industry experience is a plus.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.

·       Ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly.

·       Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
