FT Bartender 10-12/hr

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Full-Time Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining, nightclubs, or catering. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring all food safety and responsible alcohol service standards are met. Candidates should be comfortable with POS systems like Aloha and Micros, possess strong time management skills, and have a solid background in food and beverage service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha and Micros
• Engage with customers to create a positive experience, providing exceptional customer service
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and sales transactions efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs and recognizing intoxication signs
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service or catering events to ensure seamless delivery
• Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or private parties in the hospitality or banquet environment

Experience

• Previous bartending experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering settings preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills
• Strong customer service background with experience serving diverse clientele in food industry or hospitality environments
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling, and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions
• Experience working in the food industry, retail math proficiency, or related roles such as cashiering or serving is advantageous
