Annual Salary Range: $66,800 - $111,320

Job Summary

As a Human Resources Generalist at BPMI, you will play a key role in supporting a variety of HR functions while gaining valuable experience across multiple areas of Human Resources. Your role will involve assisting with recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR policy implementation. You will also have opportunities to support employee training initiatives, contribute to compliance efforts such as Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity programs, and collaborate on special projects. Essential Duties:
  • Counsel with and advise employees on a broad range Human Resource related issues. Investigate related grievances and provides guidance to management on the responses to grievances.
  • Design, implement, and present training materials to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Implement development training programs to enhance the effectiveness of the organization. Assess critical business issues and designs organizational development and strategic plans to enhance company performance.
  • Develop, prepare and issue employee communications.
  • Ensure the uniform and equitable application of Human Resource policies. Recommend changes and updates to policies in assigned areas.
  • Maintain awareness and apply knowledge of trends, best practices, and legal developments in Human Resources.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of Human Resource programs. Provide input to changes to existing programs to better serve employee needs and organization objectives.
  • Participate in audits to identify issues and/or inconsistencies, and takes appropriate action to address, resolve and prevent recurrence of those issues.
  • Partner with business operations throughout the organization to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives.
  • Prepare statistical studies and reports as required by legislation or organization needs. Analyze moderately complex data.
  • Recommend, implement and maintain effective Human Resource programs and practices to ensure that the organization is in compliance with government regulations and corporate and contract requirements while meeting organization goals and objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison with external organizations and individuals which may include vendors, insurance carriers, professional associations, regulatory agencies, auditors, candidates, etc. Suggest new relationships to meet business objectives and may serve as project lead for initiatives involving external contacts.
  • Support and coach other Human Resource professionals who are performing related work.

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management/Administration or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Twelve (12) or more years of completed education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years of experience requirements.
  • Requires a security clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance is required.
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • HR Certification (e.g., HRCI, SHRM-CP, SHRP-SCP, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and role specific applications.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
