Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Crew Members to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while working in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude
• Prepare and serve authentic African dishes according to recipes and standards
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Stock and organize inventory as needed
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns professionally
• Support team members during busy periods

Requirements:

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn about African cuisine and culture
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Team player with a positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with African cuisine or cultural dining experiences
• Bilingual skills (English and African languages) a plus
• Experience in multicultural work environments

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with heat and steam
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs
