Direct Support Staff

Direct Support Staff- All shifts available.

Description of Duties:

• Provides support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community
• Oversees the health and safety of all individuals at all times
• Reports any changes in health or behavioral status immediately
• Implements training, therapy and behavior programs and data collection required by the individuals' plans
• Assists with ensuring that the home or program offers choice, and creative activities within a positive innovative environment
• Performs all duties in compliance with agency directives, licensing standards, and policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Must Successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
• Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Must possess good oral and written skills
• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of experience working in the human service field
