Community Event Host – Luxury Apartment Events (Atlanta & Surrounding Areas)
Are you a dynamic and outgoing professional with a passion for event planning?
We're looking for an Community Event Host to execute and oversee events at luxury apartment communities in Atlanta and nearby cities.
As a Community Host, you'll manage onsite events and focus on the execution, while ensuring everything stays within budget and on schedule. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic, creative, highly organized, and ready to start immediately.
Responsibilities
Execute Events – Host and manage events from start to finish, ensuring they align with audience expectations and objectives. The Director will do most of the planning for events and you will help execute the Directors/Clients vision
Event Documentation – Upload receipts and event photos within 48 hours in the required application.
Enhance the Experience – Provide suggestions to improve event success.
Budget Management – Ensure events stay within budget without exceeding budgets.(having experience working with smaller budgets is ideal)
Vendor & Staff Coordination – Assist in hiring and managing DJs, caterers, chefs, and other event personnel.
Event Logistics – Oversee shopping, decor setup, and operations.
Problem-Solving – Ensure smooth execution and quickly resolve any issues.
Performance Analysis – Evaluate event success and provide reports.
Storage & Supplies – Travel to the storage unit for event supplies and ensure the storage space remains organized and tidy. This is non -negotiable (and the storage is located centrally - please keep this in mind before applying)
What We're Looking For
Proven event coordination experience (must provide photos of past work but willing to be trained on site)
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication & negotiation abilities
Tech-savvy and comfortable using online tools
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Ability to work independently (no micromanaging here)
Respectful and follows leadership directives, no talking back to the team leaders, no nasty attitudes will be tolerated
Reliable transportation with room for event supplies

Your ideal schedule includes:
- Weekday evenings (Monday - Friday, starting at 3/4 PM and ending 8/9 PM, including setup & breakdown)
- Occasional Saturdays & Sundays (11 AM – 4 PM for pool parties, brunches, etc.) (Sundays are rare)
