Y Job Summary
As a Crew Member, you'll support multiple areas of the store—from stocking shelves and organizing the yard to assisting with deliveries and helping customers load purchases. This is a hands-on, physically active role that offers exposure to tools, building materials, outdoor equipment, and customer service.
You'll work alongside a supportive team in a fast-paced retail environment where safety, teamwork, and dependability matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with loading and unloading purchases
- Stock shelves and maintain organized store and yard areas
- Assist with deliveries and unload incoming freight
- Remain on your feet for extended periods while moving throughout the store and yard
- Safely perform job duties requiring balance, coordination, and hands-free mobility
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Learn and follow all store policies and safety standards
- Support multiple departments as needed (lumber, tools, rentals, yard, etc.)
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided)
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day without the use of mobility assistance
- Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Prior retail, warehouse, construction, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
