Positions Available: Server / Tasting Room Associate/Bartender

Blue Spirits Distilling is a family owned and operated craft distillery, located in the heart of Chelan County. We are looking for energetic men and women to staff our Tasting Room/ Cocktail Bar, Distillery, and Events Center. We are seeking individuals with an interest and passion for the craft industry; someone who is motivated, eager to learn, and excited to be part of a growing team. Our Tasting room associate will help with tastings, serve cocktails, company events, as well as help to increase our brand recognition and customer sales.

Job Description Details:

• Provide the highest level of customer service to visitors by maintaining a positive,friendly, and helpful attitude at all times
• Serve cocktails, tastings and food to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Handles the opening and closing tasks of the Tasting Room
• Able to effectively multi-task and remain calm in a fast pace environment
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple groups and visitors while maintaining a friendly and inviting attitude
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail across all job responsibilities
• Maintains a clean, safe, and inviting environment
• Knowledgeable on the history of spirits, our company spirits (as well as other local spirit companies), and the overall production process
• Handles routine purchasing transactions, which include operating a cash drawer and the company's Point of Sale system
• Contributes to distillery sales and email sign-up goals
• Help establish customer and business relationships to maintain referrals and repeat business
• Open to assisting with distillery events as needed
• Open to participating at sponsored and promotional events off site as needed
• Open to assisting other team members with tasks as needed and working well as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• Tasting room, restaurant, bar, and POS experience preferred
• Hospitality/sales experience recommended
• Excellent customer service skills
• Handles the opening and closing tasks of the Tasting Room
• Familiar with food handling and safety regulations and willingness to help in kitchen
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs; 35 lbs minimum.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for up to 8 hours a day
• Able to work weekends and some holidays
• Schedule flexibility
• Possess High School diploma or equivalent
• Participate in pre-employment background checks and drug screening upon request

Pay: From $16.66 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
