Manufacturing Group Leader

Position Overview
We are looking for a Manufacturing Group Leader to manage day-to-day supply chain and production activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on team leadership, operational execution, and continuous improvement to ensure performance targets are achieved.

Primary Responsibilities

• Direct daily workflow to ensure optimal use of labor, materials, and production equipment.
• Guide, support, and evaluate hourly employees while fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Support manufacturing system initiatives and assist with new program introductions and process trials.
• Drive operational performance to meet delivery, cost, and product conformance expectations.
• Monitor quality performance and lead corrective actions to address issues and prevent recurrence.
• Encourage and enforce workplace safety, health, and cleanliness standards.
• Maintain effective communication and working relationships with employees, labor representatives, and leadership.
• Apply labor agreements and company policies consistently and fairly.
• Implement standardized work and continuous improvement practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure employees are properly trained and capable of performing assigned tasks.
• Develop team leads and supervisors through coaching, feedback, and mentoring.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing, operations, or supply chain setting.
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement, lean principles, or operational excellence systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production-driven environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and employee development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $44.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
