Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follows restaurant and health department protocol to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen and front of house equipment.
• Assumes responsibility for cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Knows and complies with health department code of conduct.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area including dish-machine, sink, dish-racks, and dish shelving.
• Keeps all cleaned equipment stored neatly and properly to ensure ease of use during busy times.
• Empty trash and other dump receptacles.
• Helps kitchen team close and clean back of house.

Qualifications:

• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Able to safely lift and easily maneuver containers weighing up to 50 pounds

Above and beyond:

• Experience in a kitchen
• Experience as a dishwasher
• ServSafe certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
