Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires a strong focus on customer service and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will operate different types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks, while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans , to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care of items.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of items delivered.
• Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before each trip.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients during deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices is essential.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Experience with warehouse operations or courier services is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
