Front Desk Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at our hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for providing outstanding customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

HOURS: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3pm - 11pm

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
• Manage reservations, including booking rooms, modifying existing reservations, and handling cancellations.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing phone calls and messages efficiently.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions in accordance with hotel policies.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and professionalism at the front desk area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Proficient in using hotel management software or willingness to learn new systems quickly.
