Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious tanker driver to join our operations team. In this role, you will operate specialized tanker trucks to transport Haz-Mat liquids efficiently and securely. Your experience in truck driving, material handling, and vehicle operation will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team, 2026 Peterbilt automatic tractors, and a brand-new facility committed to the customer experience.
Duties
- Safely operate tanker trucks equipped with automatic transmissions, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, secure, and unload liquid using specialized delivery equipment.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including tank integrity, brakes, lights, and tires.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and inspection reports in compliance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and drop-offs while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with hazardous material tankers.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements for Haz-Mat and tanker operation. (Automatic only is ok)
- Demonstrated ability to load & unload liquid with air and pump.
- Familiar with Samsara electronic logs is a plus.
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety procedures for transporting hazardous or bulk materials.
- Experience operating short bulk pump off equipment.
- Strong understanding of load securement and vehicle maintenance routines.

Pay: $35.00 per hour
