Job Summary

SK Stones is looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our Austin team. This position offers the opportunity to be part of the new opening and contribute directly to the company's expansion across the region.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, moving materials, and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of natural stone and porcelain products. You will play a critical role in supporting both the showroom and outside sales teams while maintaining high safety and organizational standards in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect shipments, including containers and deliveries
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other warehouse equipment to move stone and porcelain products
  • Load, unload, and carry heavy materials such as tiles and samples
  • Prepare materials for customer pickups, deliveries, and job sites
  • Ensure the warehouse and storage areas are clean, organized, and safe at all times
  • Follow proper handling procedures for heavy materials
  • Collaborate with showroom and sales teams to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently
  • Perform regular inventory counts and support stock replenishment as needed
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience (experience with natural stone, tile, or construction materials preferred)
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other warehouse equipment (certifications a plus)
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Valid Driver's License (preferred)
