Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality behavioral therapy and support to children with developmental disabilities, including autism. The therapist will work closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans, collect data, and promote positive behavior change in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, special education, and patient care, with a passion for helping children reach their full potential.
Duties
- Deliver evidence-based behavioral therapy interventions based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote independence through targeted teaching strategies.
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment plans and ensure effective outcomes.
- Implement individualized care plans developed by supervising behavior analysts or clinicians.
- Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring safety and engagement at all times.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistency in treatment approaches.
- Assist with behavior management strategies to reduce problematic behaviors and reinforce positive behaviors.
- Educate families and caregivers on behavior techniques and strategies to support ongoing progress outside of sessions.
- Uphold confidentiality standards related to medical records and client information.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment start date.
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education practices.
- Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress accurately.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, care plans, and HIPAA compliance is preferred.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with excellent communication skills for working with children and families.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
