At Castleton Health Care Center, a leading skilled nursing facility in Indianapolis, we know a safe and clean environment is essential for quality resident care. We're seeking a dependable and knowledgeable Housekeeping & Maintenance Director who takes pride in maintaining a facility that feels like home—and who has solid Life Safety knowledge to support regulatory compliance and resident safety.

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping and facility maintenance tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Follow a daily and weekly cleaning schedule to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Support Life Safety initiatives and ensure the facility is maintained in accordance with Life Safety Code requirements (NFPA).
• Respond to emergency maintenance or cleaning needs in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and administrative staff to meet environmental and safety goals.
• Foster a positive, respectful environment with residents, staff, and visitors.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping or maintenance in a healthcare, commercial, or hospitality setting.
• MUST have working knowledge of Life Safety Code requirements and demonstrate ability to help maintain compliance.
• Skilled at basic repairs, safety inspections, and facility upkeep.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and supervisors.
