Warehouse Receiving Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
• Perform order picking and packing duties as required.
• Load and unload products from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of received goods and report discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse space.

Skills

• Proficiency in using AS400 or similar warehouse management systems.
• Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
• Experience with order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping.
• Ability to operate a box truck safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.
