Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to provide full field leadership for a large, complex ground-up commercial or public building project(s). This role is suited for a proven builder who takes ownership of the jobsite, leads subcontractors effectively, and consistently delivers safe, high-quality work in accordance with the project schedule.

The successful candidate is proactive, organized, and decisive—someone who plans ahead, communicates clearly, and maintains control of the field from mobilization through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day field operations for the project

• Enforce safety programs, OSHA requirements, and project-specific safety plans

• Execute the project schedule through detailed planning and trade coordination

• Develop and manage 2–3 week look-ahead schedules

• Anticipate and resolve constraints related to materials, inspections, manpower, and approvals

• Direct and coordinate subcontractors, foremen, and field staff

• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings

• Maintain quality control throughout construction and enforce correction of deficiencies

• Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals

• Identify RFIs, change events, and potential issues early

• Partner closely with the Project Manager to align field execution with project objectives

• Maintain accurate daily manpower logs within Procore

• Consistently upload, organize, and manage progress photos in Procore to document jobsite activity

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large ground-up commercial or public projects

• Demonstrated ability to lead projects from mobilization through substantial completion

• Strong understanding of structural systems, architectural sequencing, and MEP coordination

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents fluently

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Working familiarity with Procore, including daily manpower logs and progress photo documentation

• OSHA 30 certification preferred

• Experience with public projects and regulatory requirements is a plus
