Duties

• Supervise daily cafeteria operations, ensuring smooth shift management and high-quality food service
• Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to meet safety standards and quality expectations
• Assist manager with inventory control, including ordering supplies as needed, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas
• Support customer service excellence by resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to optimize food production and delivery times
• Contribute to budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses and controlling costs effectively

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
• Hands-on experience with POS systems.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills with a background in team management and staff training
• Familiarity with inventory control, food handling procedures, and kitchen management practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully
• Previous experience in hospitality management or retail experience is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
