Role: Duckcreek policy holder and Duckcreep Producer BA

We're seeking a hands-on Business Analyst with deep experience in Duck Creek—specifically the Producer module—and strong domain understanding across Policy and Policyholder modules. You will translate business objectives into clear, testable requirements; drive configuration design; and partner closely with product, engineering, QA, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant solutions for P&C insurance. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Lead discovery workshops with underwriting, distribution, agency management, servicing, and operations to elicit and document business needs for Producer workflows (appointment, licensing, hierarchy, commission schedules, pay plans, incentives). Analyze and map end-to-end processes involving Policy and Policyholder modules (new business, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, billing triggers, customer data maintenance). Produce high-quality BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Maps, and Data Mapping documents. Define configuration specifications in Duck Creek (e.g., producer hierarchy, roles, rates/commission logic, data attributes, validation rules, integration points). Solution Design & Configuration Support Partner with Duck Creek configurators/engineers to design and validate Producer module changes (appointments, licensing validations, commission plan setup, producer hierarchy & roll-ups). Ensure seamless integration of Producer with Policy (rating, issuance, commission accrual) and Policyholder (customer master data, contact channels) modules. Provide guidance on product model impacts, rating changes, and policy lifecycle events that affect producer compensation and compliance. Data & Integration Define and validate interfaces for Producer data exchange (e.g., agency/broker onboarding, licensing systems, CRM, commission/billing). Coordinate data migration strategies (source-to-target mapping, cleansing rules, deduplication, auditability). Collaborate on API and batch design (event triggers, data contracts, error handling, idempotency
