We are seeking a strategic and innovative leader to transform our CRM operations, with a specific focus on email and SMS. This role will serve as the primary advocate for technology-driven transformation in email and SMS, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement. This role will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness across strategy, planning, creative, execution and analysis leveraging AI, our existing toolset (including SFMC, Adobe and Twilio) as well as testing additional technology solutions. This role will also create our test and learn model, adoption plans to ensure the team is equipped to leverage current and emerging tools for measurable business impact.
Day to day, you'll...
- Assess current email and SMS processes and identify areas where AI or other MarTech tools can deliver efficiencies and improved outcomes
- Lead the adoption and optimization of Adobe tools and other key email technologies (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Movable Ink, Stensul), ensuring full leverage of platform capabilities for lifecycle journeys, deliverability, and personalization
- Develop and execute a roadmap for integrating AI and other MarTech tools into email operations, including change management strategies
- Serve as the internal thought leader for AI and MarTech innovation in email and CRM, staying current on industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices. Educate and influence email marketers, agency and other key stakeholders across the organization
- Oversee integration of MarTech platforms across email, SMS, data, and analytics systems, ensuring unified profiles, data quality, and actionable insights
- Design and manage pilot programs to test new technologies, analyze results, and scale successful initiatives across email and SMS operations
- Train and enable email marketers and cross-functional partners on new tools, workflows, and methodologies to maximize adoption and impact
- Establish reporting structures and dashboards for technology performance, campaign outcomes, and business impact
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate external partners for MarTech and AI solutions, including contract negotiation and performance assessment
- Champion change management and continuous improvement, ensuring the organization is prepared, supported, and equipped to adopt new systems and ways of working
What you'll bring to the team...:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
Work Experience:
- Minimum 8 years in email, MarTech, or lifecycle marketing roles, with proven experience in platform adoption (Adobe, Salesforce, etc.), use case management, and cross-functional leadership
- Deep expertise in MarTech platforms (Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Twilio, etc.) and AI applications
- Proven track record of leading technology adoption, integration, and optimization in email and SMS environments
- Strong strategic planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Effective project management and change management abilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of partnering and influencing to achieve positive business outcomes

- Experience designing and delivering unified data architectures and integrations across CRM, email, and analytics platforms
- Hands-on experience with AI tools for marketing automation, personalization, and predictive analytics

Pay Range Information: The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
