Senior Solutions Engineer

Aparavi is in hyper‑growth as the Aparavi Platform evolves to power data intelligence and AI use cases. This hybrid role combines the business alignment and storytelling of a Solutions Engineer with the hands‑on deployment and troubleshooting depth of a Systems Engineer.

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you'll own the customer journey end‑to‑end, from pre‑sales discovery, through POV/POC, into deployment and early production success. You'll work alongside Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure customers not only adopt Aparavi but achieve measurable outcomes in data governance, AI‑readiness, and automation.

Role & Responsibilities
Pre‑Sales / Discovery (Solutions side)

• Lead technical discovery calls with enterprise customers to uncover data management, compliance, or AI needs.
• Translate business objectives into solution designs using Aparavi's Data Toolchain (DTC) and Data Services (ADS).
• Design and present architectures tailored to each customer's technical and regulatory environment.
• Build and lead proof‑of‑value (POV) / proof‑of‑concept (POC) engagements that demonstrate impact.
• Conduct live demos that tell the story of how Aparavi enables data intelligence at scale.
• Support pricing and proposal discussions by providing technical validation and architecture justifications.

POV → Deployment (Systems side)

• Install, configure, and integrate Aparavi in customer environments — on‑premises, in cloud, or hybrid setups.
• Tune performance for large file systems, object storage, or AI pipelines.
• Integrate with identity systems (IAM), storage platforms, AI tools, and diverse data sources.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues directly — solving problems hands‑on instead of handing them off.

Post‑Go‑Live / Expansion

• Ensure early production success by monitoring deployments and addressing scaling or optimization needs.
• Recommend architectural improvements to support growth, performance, and AI workloads.
• Identify expansion opportunities — increasing capacity, workflows, or new use cases.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, maintaining the customer relationship beyond the sale.

Experience

• 5+ years in Pre‑Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Systems Engineering roles supporting complex enterprise or SaaS platforms.
• Proven success leading POCs/POVs that transitioned into production deployments.
• Hands‑on experience with hybrid architectures (Windows, Linux, Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus).
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Graph API integrations for unstructured data use cases.
• Strong background in storage (SAN, NAS, object), data management, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).

Technical Skills

• System administration across Windows, Linux, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM).
• Cloud expertise with Azure services—Storage, Compute, Identity, Security—and hybrid identity models.
• Integration and scripting using REST, Graph API, OAuth 2.0, PowerShell, and Python.
• Familiar with DevOps and container environments (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring).

Soft Skills

• Strong communicator who can connect with both executives (CIO/CTO) and technical teams.
• Excellent presenter—able to frame technical depth within a clear business narrative.
• Proactive, analytical, and comfortable in a high‑growth environment with minimal structure.
• Passionate about helping customers adopt data intelligence and AI technologies at enterprise scale.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.
