GENERAL JOB DUTIES

  • Operate all store equipment
  • Stock ingredients and maintain organized storage areas
  • Prepare food products
  • Receive and process phone orders
  • Complete inventory tasks and associated paperwork
  • Clean and maintain equipment and the facility daily

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Ability to understand and follow written instructions
  • Clear verbal communication with customers and coworkers, both in person and by phone

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & SKILLS

  • Basic math skills: accurate addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to count back correct change
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Fast and accurate hand-eye coordination for order entry and product preparation
  • Ability to enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen
  • Map reading and address navigation within the delivery area
  • Ability to navigate stairs, uneven terrain, private homes, and multi-story buildings while carrying products

WORK CONDITIONS

EXPOSURE TO:

  • Various weather conditions during outdoor tasks and deliveries
  • Temperature changes from walk-in coolers (36°F) to hot work areas (90°F+)
  • Food odors and cornmeal dust
  • Tight working spaces, including walk-in coolers
  • Hot surfaces and equipment reaching 500°F or more
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical equipment
  • Weather changes and conditions while driving and delivering

SENSING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Talking and hearing on the phone
  • Near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks
  • Depth perception
  • Ability to distinguish hot vs. cold surfaces
  • Far and night vision for driving

TEMPERAMENTS
Ability to lead tasks, perform repetitive work, work independently and as part of a team, handle stress, meet high quality standards, interact with customers, analyze information, and make sound decisions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
